to the KELT Website
You are very welcome to the KELT website. KELT is the Rural
Development Company for County Kildare. We were originally
established to administer the Leader II programme. Currently,
we have been approved to operate the Leader Plus programme
in County Kildare over the period 2002-2006. Under Leader
Plus, KELT has been awarded a total of € 5,115,000 to
distribute to eligible projects over the period of the programme.
KELT will be endeavouring to support a range of innovative
community based as well as private sector projects.
Within this programme, we also have received funding under
the National Rural Development Programme to assist projects
in the Rural Tourism and Agri-Tourism Sectors.
The purpose of this website is to provide you with information
on KELT and the Leader II and Leader Plus Programmes. We hope
that you will find the information and details contained in
this site easy to read and understand, and that it will assist
you with any questions you may have about KELT and the funds
we administer.
KELT staff are available to speak to you directly in regard
